Sad to not be running Blue Ridge and upset (i.e. really f#$@ing pissed) about my knee.
The weather was gorgeous, but not even Santa could pull me out of my funk.

😦 Was Blue Ridge originally in your plans??
Did you see Santa on a trail run? I’m always spotting Christmas ornaments in the woods at one of the trail systems in the Jefferson National Forest.
I signed up for Blue Ridge right after last year’s race, but I knew even before I ran my 100k that I wouldn’t be doing it this year. I was still really sad to miss it, though! I love that race.
